Simple cod kedgeree

Ingredients
- 100g Long grain rice
- ½tsp Mild curry powder
- 1 Egg
- 300ml Baby's usual milk
- 2tbsp Parsley, finely chopped
- 150g Cod fillet, boneless
Method
- STEP 1
Place the rice in a pan, add the curry powder and cook according to instructions on the rice packet.
- STEP 2
Once it is cooked drain and set aside.
- STEP 3
Hard boil the egg for around 8-10 minutes and then allow to cool before chopping into chunks
- STEP 4
Pour the milk into a small pan and add the fish – make sure you have done a final check for bones. Stir in the parsley. After 3-4 minutes the cod should start to flake.
- STEP 5
Mix together and either puree or mash to the right consistency.
- STEP 6
*Although eggs and fish can be included into your baby’s diet from 6 months, make sure the eggs bear the Lion Mark and that they are cooked thoroughly – the white and the yolk must be solid with no runny bits.
