The Saturday’s star, who’s six-months pregnant with her first child, gave an insight into her journey towards motherhood in an interview with Fabulous Magazine.

“I don’t have a maternity book but every night Marvin sits with his [A Man’s Guide to Pregnancy] chuckling to himself and reading bits out like; ‘This week you are going to feel like this…’” Rochelle said.

“He carries it around with his everywhere. It’s blue and covered with little cartoons of sperm and he absolutely loves it. It’s been written by a man, so it’s fill of things like; ‘Her boobs will get bigger, which is great, but you can’t touch them, which is not great.’”

We’ve long been admiring Rochelle’s super-chic maternity style, including her striking monochrome outfit and gorgeous ruched Isabella Oliver dress, but she reveals she’s not been buying maternity clothes.

“I’m not so great with maternity clothes, I’m just getting normal stuff in larger sizes. But the one thing I’ve discovered is maternity Spanx. They’re amazing, they keep everything in place and make you feel so comfortable,” she said.

When it comes to the birth of her first child, Rochelle says despite being addicted to watching Channel 4’s TV show One Born Every Minute, she’s made very few decisions when it comes to her birth strategy.

“I have no idea what to expect. I haven’t done a birth plan, I haven’t picked any music. I’m hoping to have a natural birth, but I’m not making any decisions. I just want to see what happens and go with what’s best at the time.”

“The only decision I have made is that Marvin will be with me in the room, and my mum will be somewhere in the hospital,” she said.

And when it comes to a baby present, Rochelle revealed her slightly wacky choice, “I’d like a camera to go right inside and see the baby.”

Here at MFM HQ we’re loving how open the famous mama-to-be is about her pregnancy journey. Keep us updated, Rochelle!
