Brooklyn Beckham and his dad David have been left 'shaken' after being involved in a motoring accident at the weekend.

Talented footballer Brooklyn was being picked up by his dad after playing in an Arsenal under-16s match in Colney Hatch, Hertfordshire.

Luckily, the airbags in David's Audi RS6 deployed, and the pair were unhurt, although their car was reported to be unusable following the collision.

Brooklyn is fast following in his dad's famous footsteps with his footballing prowess - both Chelsea and Manchester United were rumoured to be interested in signing the youngster, but it was Arsenal he chose to play for, joining the team last month. And keeping it well and truly in the Beckham family, his equally talented younger brothers Romeo, 12, and Cruz, 9, also play for the club's Under 13s and Under 10s sides.

While the BBC reports that the police have not confirmed that the Beckhams were involved in the incident, the police did state that a grey Audi RS6 had collided with a silver Mitsubishi Colt.
