A very French affair for the twins’ birthday as dad Nick tweets it’s one of the happiest days of his life
Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon’s twins, Moroccan and Monroe, celebrated their 1st birthday in Paris yesterday.
Having revealed they’d planned for the twins to be born to a round of applause, we were ready for a whopper of a bash. They didn’t disappoint.
Taking place inside the Plaza Athenee, where the couple are said to have renewed their wedding vows earlier this week, the party was a allegedly lavish affair of ivory whites and frilly dresses, the Daily Mail reports.
According to E! Online the couple served custom-made French pastries – we’re guessing jelly and ice-cream wouldn’t cut it. Think of the stains!
The pair certainly had a lot to celebrate. Nick told his Twitter followers, “One of the happiest days of my life! Watching my wife on stage on our 4th anniversary & celebrating our kids 1st birthday!” To top it all off, Mariah confirmed on Twitter that she is in this year’s issue of People magazine’s “Most Beautiful Women”. Phew! We’d probably fancy a French pastry after all of that, too.
