The Duchess of Cambridge, formerly know as Kate Middleton, dropped a hint about starting a family of her own during an official overseas Royal visit to Canada.
The rumours came after Kate showed her maternal side and doted on the young daughter of a British ex-pat. The little girl shyly presented the new wife of Prince William with a bouquet of flowers.
The little girl’s father wished Kate well in her own efforts to start a family after Kate remarked how beautiful his daughter was. The duchess thanked him and admitted that she hoped to have children saying, “Yes I hope so.”
Kate will be following Royal protocol if she has a baby within her first year of marriage. Prince William was born just 11 months after his parents Princess Diana and Prince Charles were married. The Queen gave birth to Prince Charles a year after her own Royal wedding to Prince Phillip.
We wonder what baby names would be on the short-list…
