Your baby’s tastes will be widening to include an array of savoury, spicy and sweet flavours. This week’s recipe for cod kedgeree includes grown-up long grain rice, and is delicately seasoned with a dash of curry powder. We’ve also got great tummy-flllers including chicken and root vegetable mash plus pork and green beans.

Fruit: 1 medium mango or peach, 220g tinned peaches in juice, 300g frozen summer fruits
Veg: 100g broccoli, 4 medium carrots, 2 medium parsnips, 1 medium sweet potato, 100g potatoes, 75g green beans
Meat: 2 medium chicken breasts, 100g lean pork mince
Fish: 150g cod fillet
Fridge: 75g cheddar cheese, 575ml milk, 1 medium egg, Greek yoghurt
Cupboard ingredients: 50g baby pasta, dried oregano, baby rice, dried sage, 100g basmati or long grain rice, mild curry powder, fresh parsley
